N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine, abbreviated NAC, is the acetyl form of the amino acid cysteine. It is a semi-essential amino acid, which means that the body can produce it itself, but that additional supplementation is sometimes necessary.

NAC plays an important role as a precursor to glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It also supports various processes in the body, including detoxification, immune function and cell renewal.

Research shows that NAC can help slow down hereditary hair loss, especially in men, by helping to reduce oxidative damage to hair follicles and thus supporting hair growth. The role of NAC has also been investigated in trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder). It may help reduce the urge to pull hair, allowing the scalp to recover.

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is an easily absorbed form of the amino acid cysteine and an important building block for the antioxidant glutathione. It supports cell protection and repair and can contribute to healthy hair and scalp condition.

Take 1 to 2 capsules per day, between meals, with water or fruit juice.

If you have a sensitive digestive system, the capsule can also be taken with a carbohydrate-rich meal. The capsules are suitable for men and women, compact (approximately 21 mm) and therefore easy to swallow.

Important:

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place.

Use this supplement with caution if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical supervision, and consult a doctor or healthcare professional beforehand in such cases.
