Dandrene Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is a new generation of anti-dandruff shampoo. Where many anti-dandruff shampoos only clean, Dandrene Shampoo goes a step further. It reduces flakes, redness and itching, but also keeps your hair healthy, shiny and supple. So you get a calm scalp AND beautiful hair, without the dry, sticky effect that many anti-dandruff products give.

The shampoo is specially designed for stubborn or recurring dandruff. Thanks to the powerful exfoliating effect, the scalp is deeply cleansed and dead skin cells are loosened, making flakes less likely to return.

An important ingredient is activated charcoal. This acts as a magnet for sebum, dirt and accumulations on the scalp. As a result, excess grease is immediately reduced, and this effect continues even after rinsing.

This shampoo also contains 2% salicylic acid, which gently flakes off the top layer of skin. This helps loosen flakes and creates a cleaner, more balanced scalp.

Dandrene Shampoo addresses dandruff not only on the surface, but also at the root cause. It inhibits yeast/fungal growth (often the source of dandruff) and helps balance sebum production. The result: fewer flakes, less itching and a scalp that returns to calm.

For additional soothing, grapefruit oil extract has been added. This helps calm irritation and supports the scalp's natural microbiome, promoting recovery.

Piroctone olamine
Has a similar action to Ketoconazole. It reduces hair loss, stimulates hair growth, provides thicker hair and is effective against dandruff. Studies show that Piroctone olamine outperforms Ketoconazole on a number of fronts, such as hair thickness and number of hairs in the growth phase.
Salicylic acid
It exfoliates scalp cells in two ways. First, it loosens cells of the outer layer of skin by dissolving what is known as the cement material of the cells. Second, it lowers the pH of the outer layer, making it moist and supple. Thus, it acts as an exfoliant, helping the skin to break down and shed dead skin cells. It is effective in treating dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis.
Saw palmetto
A particularly important substance. It is widely used in the treatment against Alopecia Androgenetica because of its DHT-inhibiting (Di-hydro-testοsterone) properties , a hormone that causes hair follicles to shrink, ultimately causing hair loss.

Make your hair and scalp thoroughly wet
Apply the Dandrene Shampoo to wet hair and gently massage it into your scalp
Let the shampoo soak for 2-3 minutes

As far as I am concerned, this is one of the better anti-dandruff shampoos. The dandruff does not go away completely but remains under control with regular use.

Good anti-dandruff shampoo

When I started with Dandrene I had pretty bad dandruff. My dandruff quickly faded. Unfortunately, it never completely went away, but I can definitely recommend this product.

Good anti-rose shampoo

I have used several anti-rose shampos, but this product seems to work. I alternate it with a normal, organic shampoo every few days (you shouldn't use it too often), and that reduces my flakes and dandruff. When I don't use Dandrene for a while, the rose unfortunately comes back.

I have only been using it for a month, but am satisfied with it.

Why do I give it 4 stars? The bottle has not been properly thought out. I find it rather difficult to get the shampoo out. There is a lot in, but the cap etc. is easily broken and a piece of shampoo gets lost.

Furthermore, it is a great product and I feel that my hair is enjoying it.
